Cavalier is 6-1 against Larimore since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tornadoes will host the Polar Bears at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Cavalier put up the most points they have all season on Friday. They blew past Midway/Minto 56-16. The Tornadoes haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Larimore posted their closest win since August 30, 2024 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 50-48 victory over St. John.

Cavalier better keep an eye on Baron Burns. He was instrumental in Larimore's win, rushing for 108 yards and a pair of scores on only ten carries, while also throwing for 148 yards and two touchdowns. Those 108 rushing yards gave Burns a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Grant Odermann, who rushed for 105 yards and two TDs.

Larimore was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 332 rushing yards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 78 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five games they've averaged 307.7.

Larimore's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Cavalier, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
