Softball Recap: Lafayette County Takes a Loss

Lafayette County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 21-2 to the Bradley Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Monday.

Lafayette County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Bradley, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lafayette County will challenge rival Hermitage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bradley is set to take on their familiar foe Columbia Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
