Soccer Recap: Carolina Academy Comes Up Short

Carolina Academy lost against Palmetto back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans came up short against the Mustangs, falling 10-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Carolina Academy were already down 9-0.

Carolina Academy dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Palmetto, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carolina Academy will square off against Blue Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Palmetto, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Belton-Honea Path at 7:00 p.m. Palmetto are facing Belton-Honea Path at the right time seeing as Belton-Honea Path are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
