Richland came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Huntland, but Grant Jernigan wouldn't allow it. The Hornets took down the Raiders 21-7 on Friday for which the team can thank Jernigan, who rushed for 181 yards and one TD while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making nine total tackles and defending one pass.

The victory made it two in a row for Huntland and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 14 points in those games. As for Richland, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
