Basketball Recap: Leland & Gray Drops Season-High Score on Green Mountain

Leland & Gray was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 48-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Green Mountain Chieftains. One positive for the Rebels, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Leland & Gray's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Green Mountain, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2.

Leland & Gray will square off against Long Trail at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Green Mountain, they will head out on the road to square off against Proctor at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Green Mountain is facing Proctor at the right time seeing as Proctor is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
