Basketball Recap: Mid-Pacific Institute Wins High-Profile Contest Against Le Jardin Academy

On Friday, Mid-Pacific Institute faced Le Jardin Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Mid-Pacific Institute Owls managed a 56-51 win over the Le Jardin Academy Bulldogs.

It was another big night for Riley Miura, who went 6 for 15 on his way to 20 points and six rebounds. Darius Chizer was another key player, going 5 of 12 on his way to 12 points and five rebounds.

Mid-Pacific Institute's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Le Jardin Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
