Academy of the Holy Names won the last time they faced Wiregrass Ranch and things went their way on Thursday too. The Jaguars enjoyed a cozy 57-42 victory over the Bulls. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Academy of the Holy Names to victory, but perhaps none more so than Autumn Steele, who posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Gabriella Teixeira, who earned 15 points.

Wiregrass Ranch's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elissia Saliba, who had 13 points. Andralee Keim was another key player, putting up eight points along with eight boards and four steals.

Academy of the Holy Names' record is now 2-0. As for Wiregrass Ranch, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Academy of the Holy Names will take on Braden River in a tournament on Monday. As for Wiregrass Ranch, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Riverview Sarasota at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
