Soccer Recap: Hermiston Takes a Loss

Hermiston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hanford Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Hermiston of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Hermiston's record is now 3-8. As for Hanford, they moved to 4-8 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hermiston is set to face off against their familiar foe Southridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hanford will square off against rival Kennewick at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
