Lincoln Charter has gone a perfect 9-0 against Langtree Charter Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Lincoln Charter Eagles will be playing at home against the Langtree Charter Academy Lions at 6:30 p.m. Lincoln Charter is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 71 points per game this season.
Last Friday, Lincoln Charter didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Mountain Island Charter, but they still walked away with a 90-86 win. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Raptors are ranked 388th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

David Reed IV was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 28 points and 20 rebounds. Those 20 boards gave him a new career-high. Sylas Coleman was another key player, going 7-for-13 on his way to 19 points and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Langtree Charter Academy lost to Christ the King at home by a 67-53 margin on Friday. The Lions have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Lincoln Charter will have to keep a close watch on Jerel Brawley and Ashton Munters, a pair of players who had a big impact on Langtree Charter Academy's prior game. Brawley posted 14 points in addition to six boards and five steals, while Munters went 6-for-9 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points. Another player making a difference was Arbrey Hoyle, who scored seven points.
Even though they lost, Langtree Charter Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive matches.
Lincoln Charter's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.9 points over those games. As for Langtree Charter Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-17.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Lincoln Charter has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 23.3 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Langtree Charter Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
