Baseball Preview: Gridley Bulldogs vs. Corning Cardinals
For the second straight game, Gridley will face off against Corning. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Gridley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
Gridley had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Corning on Tuesday. In other batting news, Tanner Abbott was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one triple. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Luis Murillo was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
