Volleyball Recap: Eastlake Comes Up Short

Eastlake was the 2-0 winner over Mission Vista when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans fell just short of Mission Vista by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sean Fleming paced Eastlake's offense, picking up 22 kills. Fleming got some help from Michael Jaymalin and his 14 assists.

Eastlake's loss dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Mission Vista, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-12.

Eastlake has already played their next matchup (against Bonita Vista), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Mission Vista, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Granite Hills on the 26th.
