Basketball Recap: Potosi Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

Potosi had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 95-85 victory over the Ste. Genevieve Dragons. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Potosi's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.8 points per game. As for Ste. Genevieve, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Potosi will take on Bunker at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ste. Genevieve, they will challenge DeSoto at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
