Norwell dropped down to 5-2 on Saturday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of East Noble by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Norwell of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

As for East Noble, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted against Norwell since August 29, 2020.

East Noble had a senior duo take command as Kylie Walz had 16 digs and three assists and Alyssa Desper had 12 assists and five digs. Walz has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Coming up, Norwell will be playing at home against Southern Wells at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Noble, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Manchester on the 30th.
