Porter has gone 8-2 against Dayton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Porter Spartans will head out to square off against the Dayton Broncos at 5:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Porter took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Friday. They walked away with a 56-46 win over West Fork. The victory was some much needed relief for the Spartans as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Dayton earned a 71-58 win over Splendora on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

Porter's victory bumped their record up to 11-17. As for Dayton, their win bumped their record up to 17-10.

Porter couldn't quite finish off Dayton in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 and fell 41-38. Can Porter avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
