Soccer Game Preview: Thousand Oaks vs. Agoura

The Thousand Oaks Lancers will square off against the Agoura Chargers at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Thousand Oaks' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thousand Oaks is headed into Friday's following a draw, the team's first since November 19. They and Westlake finished up their game with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Thousand Oaks' goal came courtesy of Zach Reer, who's now up to ten this season.

Meanwhile, Agoura kept a clean sheet against Oaks Christian on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Lions 1-0.

With that draw, Thousand Oaks' record moves to 9-7-2. As for Agoura, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6-1 and their overall record up to 2-9-3.

Thousand Oaks was able to grind out a solid win over Agoura when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 3-1. Will Thousand Oaks repeat their success, or does Agoura have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
