Basketball Recap: Moline Piles Up the Points Against Dekalb

Moline strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They breezed past the DeKalb Barbs to the tune of 72-34. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Maroons also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2024.

Leading Moline to victory were Adalynn Voss and Camilla Velasquez. Voss posted 19 points, while Velasquez earned 15 points. Another player making a difference was Aniya M Dixon, who scored ten points.

Moline's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Moline won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against St. Charles North at 2:29 p.m. on Saturday. As for DeKalb, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Central at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
