A Season-Best Performance from Tayveon Parry Leads Union over Yukon

His longest rush was for an impressive 52 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

For the season, Parry has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 85.6 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 14.57 rushing yards per game.

Jordan Schelling Turns in Season-Best Performance

On Thursday, Union got the W thanks in part to Jordan Schelling playing the best football he has all season. Schelling rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 89-yard run.

Schelling and Union will welcome Broken Arrow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Redhawks got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Tigers, probably because Schelling had a solid game then too: he picked up 58 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 46 yards. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
