Softball Recap: North Olmsted Comes Up Short

North Olmsted was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers.

Morgan Outrich made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-3. Jocelyn Suckart was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

North Olmsted's record now sits at 0-3. As for Cuyahoga Falls, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Olmsted will square off against Magnificat at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. North Olmsted's pitchers better be ready for this one: Magnificat has averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Cuyahoga Falls, they will challenge Nordonia at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
