Basketball Recap: Grady Comes Up Short

Grady was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 37-36 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hagerman Bobcats. The Bronchos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Grady's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Hagerman, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grady won't have much time to rest: their next game is against To'hajiilee at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hagerman, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tularosa at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
