Softball Recap: Midland Comes Up Short

Midland managed to slip by Grand Blanc the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Chemics came up short against the Bobcats on Thursday, falling 12-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Chemics' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Midland now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Grand Blanc, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

While Midland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
