South Shore Vo-Tech had already won nine in a row and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They came out on top against the Upper Cape Cod RVT Rams by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

South Shore Vo-Tech walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-13, 23-25, 25-17.

Julia Da Silva paced South Shore Vo-Tech's offense, picking up nine kills. Da Silva got some help from Fenway Valiente and her 19 assists. Alyssa Viola and Laci Shirriff kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.

Despite the loss, Upper Cape Cod RVT still got an impressive performance from Nigella Johnson, who had 27 digs and two aces.

South Shore Vo-Tech's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Upper Cape Cod RVT, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

South Shore Vo-Tech will challenge Old Colony RVT at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Upper Cape Cod RVT, they will host Sturgis West at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
