Soccer Game Preview: Del Valle vs. Jefferson

The Del Valle Conquistadores will face off against the Jefferson Silver Foxes at 1:50 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Tuesday, Del Valle came up short against Eastlake and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for Del Valle in their meetings with Eastlake: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Jefferson was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Clint could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Del Valle now has a losing record of 1-2-1. Jefferson's draw makes their record 1-3-1 this season.

Del Valle beat Jefferson by a goal in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, winning 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Conquistadores since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
