Volleyball Game Preview: Highland Park Scots vs. DeLaSalle Islanders + Official Tickets

The Highland Park Scots will head out on the road to challenge the DeLaSalle Islanders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Tuesday, Highland Park made easy work of South St. Paul and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Scots.

Highland Park not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept South St. Paul between 15 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15, 25-17.

Meanwhile, DeLaSalle got the win against Minneapolis South on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Islanders in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: DeLaSalle took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-10, 25-15.

DeLaSalle's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Highland Park, their victory bumped their record up to 15-9.

Highland Park beat DeLaSalle 2-0 in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Will the Scots repeat their success, or do the Islanders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
