Lane Tech entered their tilt with Von Steuben on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Champions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lane Tech was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-14.

Their offense was headlined by Abigail Graff and Janelle-Elise Ibeagha, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Maya Rodgers and her six assists. Audrey Nathaus controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lane Tech's win bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Von Steuben, they moved to 11-9-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Lane Tech will take on Northside at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Von Steuben, they will square off against Schurz at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
