Soccer Recap: Omaha Northwest Takes a Loss

Omaha Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jefferson Yellowjackets. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Omaha Northwest couldn't quite close it out.

Omaha Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Jefferson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Omaha Northwest has already played their next game, a 4-1 loss against Buena Vista on the 16th. As for Jefferson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Sergeant Bluff-Luton on the 15th.
