Volleyball Recap: Cedarville Comes Up Short

The Cedarville Indians didn't have quite enough to beat the Dayton Christian WARRIORS on Monday and fell 3-2. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Cedarville sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 14-25, 25-16, 23-25, 15-6.

Grace Donahue was a one-woman wrecking crew For Dayton Christian. as she had seven aces and three digs. Those seven aces gave Donahue a new career-high.

Cedarville now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Dayton Christian, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Cedarville has already played their next contest (against Greenon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Dayton Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Madison on the 26th.
