Baseball Recap: St. Patrick Continues Home Dominance on Friday

St. Patrick has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 1.39 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-11 win over the Fulton Pirates. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

St. Patrick's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 27-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Fulton, they moved to 31-7 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
