Soccer Recap: Cascade Takes a Loss

Cascade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stayton Eagles. Cascade fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Stayton since Thursday.

Cascade's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Stayton, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cascade is set to face off against their familiar foe North Marion at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Stayton will square off against rival Philomath at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
