Basketball Game Preview: Union Knights vs. Janesville Wildcats

After both having extra time off, the Union Knights and the Janesville Wildcats will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Union's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Two weeks ago, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Union beat Sumner-Fredericksburg 65-61.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Janesville). They had just enough and edged Riceville out 74-71. The win made it back-to-back victories for Janesville.

Janesville's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Union, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
