While Caverna's win against Campbellsville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Colonels sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Eagles on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Colonels have posted since March 23rd.

Caverna's victory bumped their record up to 14-16. As for Campbellsville, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-23.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Caverna by a score of 12-2 later that day.
