Basketball Game Preview: Oglethorpe County Patriots vs. Hart County Bulldogs

The Oglethorpe County Patriots will head out on the road to challenge the Hart County Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Oglethorpe County is looking for their season's first win.

Oglethorpe County is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 64-53 to Banks County on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 457th, while the Leopards are ranked 174th).

Hart County has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They received a blow on Saturday as they fell 71-53 to Elbert County. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 7-3. As for Oglethorpe County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Oglethorpe County ended up a good deal behind Hart County in their previous matchup back in November, losing 58-43. Can Oglethorpe County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
