Max Smith turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two walks surrendered on Wednesday. He didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because El Toro is 6-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 1-6-1 otherwise.

Smith's strong effort led El Toro over Beckman and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
