Softball Game Preview: Perrin-Whitt Pirates vs. Saint Jo Panthers

The Perrin-Whitt Pirates will square off against the Saint Jo Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Perrin-Whitt has given up an average of 18 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Perrin-Whitt came up short against Saint Jo last Thursday, falling 35-20. While the Pirates didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 11-3 in the first period.

The win (which was Saint Jo's third in a row) raised their record to 4-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 21.0 runs over those games. As for Perrin-Whitt, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-4.
