Basketball Recap: New Way Learning Academy Has No Trouble Against Sonoran Science Academy

New Way Learning Academy's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They strolled past Sonoran Science Academy with points to spare, taking the game 55-40. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 52-20 loss the last time these two teams met.

New Way Learning Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Sonoran Science Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Way Learning Academy will face off against Telesis Prep at 4:30 p.m. on January 23rd. New Way Learning Academy is facing Telesis Prep at the right time seeing as Telesis Prep is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Sonoran Science Academy, they will take on American Leadership Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. American Leadership Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Sonoran Science Academy likes a good challenge.
