League recap: Woods powers Buhach Colony with hot hitting week

Kert Woods was on fire this week, as he led Central California with a .400 average with two RBIs. His
Buhach Colony team went 1-2.
The Thunder currently lead the league with a 23-9 record overall and an 11-4 mark during league play.
Merced is in second place, one game behind with a 10-5 record in league play.
Buhach Colony's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 32 hits and nine walks to lead the league in both categories. The Thunder's pitchers have been charged with only 225 hits and have struck out 232 batters.
Daulton Jefferies is tops on the staff with 101 Ks.
