Basketball Recap: Darlington Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Darlington hadn't done well against Crestwood recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Darlington Falcons came out on top against the Crestwood Knights by a score of 55-47. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Saniya Williams, who posted 16 points and three steals. Javiah Martin was another key player, putting up 14 points and three steals.

Darlington pushed their record up to 15-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Crestwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.

Coming up, Darlington will head out to challenge Wilson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wilson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.4 points per game this season. As for Crestwood, they will welcome Lakewood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
