Volleyball Game Preview: Elko Indians vs. Lowry Buckaroos

After both having extra time off, the Elko Indians and the Lowry Buckaroos will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Elko and eight for Lowry.

On Saturday, Elko didn't have quite enough to beat Dayton and fell 3-2.

Elko couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Dayton a tough time in the first set. The final score came out to 30-28, 19-25, 21-25, 25-9, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Lowry came up short against Churchill County on Friday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-9.

Lowry's loss dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Elko, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-15.

Everything went Elko's way against Lowry in their previous matchup on October 4th, as Elko made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
