The Hall Titans will venture away from home to take on the Bristol Central Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hall has given up an average of 31 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Things were looking good for Hall after they put the first points on the board on Saturday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 36-30 to Southington. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 1, 2021, but that streak is no more.
Hall's defeat came about despite a quality game from Tommy Hussey, who threw for 159 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 66 yards. Spencer Zazzaro got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Even if they lost, Hall's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Will Remington with two. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with six. Another thorn in Southington's side was Carlos Nunez, who forced one fumble and made ten total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Hall, racking up 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Zazzaro, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Bristol Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 42-0 loss at the hands of Windsor. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut football rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Warriors are ranked 16th).
Hall will have to contain Gabriel Ouellette as he made an impact in Bristol Central's last game. He rushed for 138 yards. With that strong performance, Ouellette is now averaging an impressive 101.8 rushing yards per game.
Bristol Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hall, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
