Basketball Recap: Tyler Frydenlund Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Park

Jefferson won the last time they faced Park and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Jefferson Panthers walked away with a 64-57 win over the Park Rangers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jefferson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyler Frydenlund, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Geier, who posted 19 points and six boards.

Jefferson smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.

When it comes to explaining why Park lost, don't look at Coen Braham. Despite the final result, he went 9 of 22 en route to 23 points and six steals. Isaac Ramirez was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Jefferson's record is now 7-5. As for Park, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Jefferson has already played their next contest, a 61-51 victory against Lone Peak on the 30th. As for Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-51 defeat against Laurel on the 31st.
