Basketball Recap: West Shore Christian Academy Takes a Loss

West Shore Christian Academy lost against New Covenant Christian back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. West Shore Christian Academy fell just short of the New Covenant Christian Flames by a score of 49-46. The loss was West Shore Christian Academy's first of the season.

New Covenant Christian found their leader in sophomore Lincoln Hess, who posted 19 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hess has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Canakis, who earned eight points and three steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Shore Christian Academy fell to 2-1. As for New Covenant Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.

West Shore Christian Academy will take on Mount Calvary Christian in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. New Covenant Christian and Harrisburg Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. New Covenant Christian will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
