Basketball Recap: Colome Takes a Loss

Colome was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 29th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Kadoka Kougars 76-19. While losing is never fun, the Cowboys can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while the Kougars are ranked 14th).

Colome's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Kadoka, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colome will face off against Marty Indian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kadoka, they will square off against Lyman at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
