Concord came tearing into Saturday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Blissfield Royals by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Concord easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17.

Annie Saenz paced Concord's offense, picking up 12 kills. Saenz got some help from Bradie Lehman and her 20 assists. Saenz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Concord's win bumped their record up to 18-6-2. As for Blissfield, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.

Concord has already played their next contest, a 1-1 tie against Madison on the 11th. Hopefully Blissfield paid attention to the Yellowjackets' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Yellowjackets at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
