Basketball Recap: St. Thomas More Academy's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

St. Thomas More Academy had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 40-21 win over the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion on Friday. This was payback for the Chancellors, who suffered a 30-26 loss the last time these two teams met.

St. Thomas More Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Adella Dehring out in front who posted 15 points in addition to five boards and four steals. Dehring has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Winnie Dehring, who had eight points along with six boards and three steals.
