Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Palatine's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Palatine won the last time they faced Rolling Meadows and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pirates came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0.

While Palatine won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17.

Palatine has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-17 record this season. As for Rolling Meadows, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-20.

Palatine and Rolling Meadows are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Pirates will challenge Lakes at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Palatine is facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Rolling Meadows, they will face off against Hoffman Estates at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
