Football Recap: Eastlake Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Eastlake and Skyline, and Skyline kept the tradition alive. The Wolves received a blow on Friday as they fell 29-14 to the Spartans. The contest marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Eastlake still got an impressive performance from Brady Vandermeid, who threw for 216 yards and one touchdown while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also punched in one TD on the ground.

Ben Odom was the offensive standout of the matchup as he threw for 240 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 80% of his passes. Luke Morgan also helped out with an impressive 88 receiving yards.

Eastlake now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Skyline, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Eastlake didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-7 victory against Mount Si on the 10th. As for Skyline, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 21-20 defeat against Bellevue on the 10th.
