The Rock came tearing into Tuesday's game with ten straight wins dating back to last season, and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Forest Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory.

The Rock's got stronger as the match went on, holding Forest to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Forest saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Addison Owens had 21 digs and three assists. Those 21 digs set a new season-high mark for Owens.

The Rock's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Rock will head out to face off against Gainesville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Forest, they will face off against The Villages Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
