Baseball Recap: Franklin County Comes Up Short

Franklin County suffered their closest loss since March 28, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Harrison County Thorobreds/Fillies by a score of 8-6. The Flyers haven't had much luck with the Thorobreds/Fillies recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Franklin County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Harrison County, their victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-2-1.

Coincidentally, Franklin County and Harrison County will both be playing Walton-Verona the next time they take the field. The Thorobreds/Fillies will host the Bearcats at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Flyers will play them later in the day, at 12:15 p.m.
