Softball Recap: Albemarle Comes Up Short

Albemarle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Louisa County Lions, falling 13-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-1 back in March.

Albemarle's record is now 1-9. As for Louisa County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Albemarle will square off against rival Goochland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Louisa County is set to challenge their familiar foe Charlottesville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
