Basketball Recap: Westside Now 10-3 over Last 13 Games

Westside won the last time they faced Jackson and things went their way on Saturday too. The Westside Seminoles took down the Jackson Red Devils 46-27.

Westside got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Domonique Billue out in front who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. That's the most rebounds Billue has posted since back in December of 2024. Destiny Spencer was another key player, going 6-for-10 to rack up 14 points and six boards.

Westside is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points over those games. As for Jackson, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-20 record this season.
