Soccer Recap: Smith County Comes Up Short

Smith County lost against Liberty Creek back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Owls came up short against Wolves, falling 8-2. Smith County were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-2.

Zane Felice and Adyn Elliott scored both of Smith County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Smith County has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12-1 record this season. As for Liberty Creek, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4-2.

Smith County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Liberty Creek, they will take on White House-Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
